Events:HomeOUPS holds a number of events over the year to support OU Psychology students in their studies. The events are designed to help directly with the courses as well as provide an opportunity to hear top psychologists talking at our conferences. In addition it gives students a chance to socialise with others students. The four main National events are outlined below:
OUPS Psychology Day Conference
OUPS Applied Psychology Weekend Conference
Mini Summer Schools for ED209, DD307 and SD226
The chance to benefit from the Summer School experience at a residential weekend. There is a full programme of lectures for each course covering both course related topics and study skills. The OUPS Mini Summer School Weekend takes place at Warwick University at the beginning of July in parallel with the Annual Psychology Conference. Click here for further details.
Revision Weekends
DSE212 Taster weekends
This weekend school is for students who are about to start DSE212 in October and it is held at the same time as the Revision Weekend for ther courses in September. It is intended to give a very gentle ‘hand-holding’ guide to DSE212. It aims to give you a foundation for your studies by providing you with an overview of the important aspects of the course and giving you a framework for studying psychology and DSE212 in particular.
