About us

The Open University Psychological Society is a volunteer run charity that exists to encourage and support anybody interested in studying psychology.  Originally founded in the 1970s we are still going strong more than 40 years later with an active program that includes our annual conference, special interest days and our ever popular revision weekends for those studying with the OU.  OUPS works on two levels.  We have a central organisation that works on national events and the day to day running of OUPS.  We also have OUPS Regions that provide local support to students and others through a program of lectures and study sessions.  Welcome to our web site.  We hope it provides you with the spur you need to continue your studies.
