OUPS would like to welcome all new D120 students to your first compulsory psychology module.
To help you get to know OUPS a little better we offer an introductory year's free membership of our society. As part of this offer you will get discounted fees for OUPS National residential events We hope that you will enjoy your year's free membership and that it will help you feel part of the OU Psychology community.
To receive the benefits of membership, just purchase annual membership, selecting the D120 free membership option. Your membership will commence immediately and will last for one calendar year.
We will be offering a D120 Consolidation Residential Weekend in January which will be relevant to both October and February starters. This is an excellent way of meeting other students on your module and having face to face contact with tutors. We will also offer a one day online version of this. In addition we offer other non module related events such as a Stats and Research Methods Weekend, a Stress and Resilience Workshop and an Annual Conference.
In 2024 OUPS celebrate their 50th Anniversary and we will be marking this at the Annual Conference on 'the Psychology of Pleasure' in May. Everyone is welcome!
We reserve the right to ask for proof that you are studying D120 and to cancel membership and recover any benefits received if you are unable to provide this, or if you have taken more than one year's free membership without prior authorisation.
